Starting March 2023, I’m an attorney for the Internet Society. I previously served as in-house counsel for Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit assisting post-9/11 veterans. In this role, I worked closely with teammates throughout the organization to solve problems, reduce risk, negotiate contracts, and most importantly, work to complete our mission. I firmly believe that good legal advice is impossible without working with people to understand their work and its impact on an organization’s mission, and I look forward to exploring ways in which I can best help the team at the Internet Society.
Before moving to Florida, I grew up in Northern Michigan, where I developed love for the outdoors, hiking, and kayaking throughout the state. After dreaming of life without snow, I moved to Florida in 2009 to attend law school. I met my wife, Kate, here in Jacksonville, where we live with our daughter, Evelyn, and two dogs, Bodhi and Finn.
We love hunting for shark teeth on the beach, traveling, and trying new food.
